One card keeps the question narrow
A one-card reading selects one card from the full 78-card deck and fixes whether it appears upright or reversed. Because there is no second position to qualify the first, the interpretation concentrates on one theme: the pattern to notice, the assumption to test, or the next action to consider. That makes it useful for a daily focus, a journaling prompt, or a decision that has already been reduced to one clear issue.
The AI writes after the card is fixed. It uses the selected orientation, published meaning, and optional question; it cannot replace the card or turn the result into proof about hidden facts.
Choose a larger spread when the question genuinely contains several roles or stages. A conflict involving you, another person, and the relationship between you needs more structure than a single card can provide. More cards should clarify separate jobs, not simply add volume or the illusion of certainty.
